After Eviscerating Ingraham’s Advertisers, David Hogg Now Turns On BlackRock And Vanguard Over Gun Holdings

On Tuesday, the 18-year-old high school senior and an outspoken gun law activist David Hogg took to Twitter to encourage a boycott of BlackRock (BLK) and The Vanguard Group, the nation’s two largest investment-management companies, over their holdings in gun companies.

In a series of tweets, Hogg said: “[BlackRock] and [Vanguard] are two of the biggest investors in gun manufacturers; if you use them, feel free to let them know,” with the hashtags #BoycottVanguard and #BoycottBlackRock.

Earlier this month, BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, announced that it would offer two new exchange-traded funds and new index-tracking products for pensions and 401(k) plans that exclude stocks of gunmakers and large gun retailers. This was in response to the mounting pressure from customers urging Wall Street to take a stand on the gun debate.

So, now he is asking people to boycott their own 401k’s/pensions funds… Good luck with this!

Last month, Hogg led a similar campaign when he demanded the boycott of Laura Ingraham’s show on Fox News. He is a survivor of February’s massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School that left 17 people dead and has become a vocal anti-gun advocate in the weeks since, with more than 760,000 Twitter followers.

It looks like Hogg does not care that there are real people with real families that work for these company’s and just because they don’t happen to agree with him it’s time to put them out of business?

David Hogg needs to get a grip. He has NO authority to demand anything! He is a puppet who thinks he has power. Hopefully, he’s about done with his rampage. I can’t believe the progressive lefties are using politically weaponized children as shields. On second thought, I guess I’m not that surprised.
