After She Encouraged Harassment of Trump Admin In Public, Maxine Waters Is Now Worried That Demonstrations Against Her Could Turn Violent

Maxine Waters is on fire these days. First, she encouraged the harassment of Trump administration officials in public. Later, during a Saturday “Families Belong Together” immigration rally in Los Angeles, Waters reignited her calls to impeach President Donald Trump.

In a statement issued late Wednesday, Maxine warned supporters of potential “armed protests” against her after an extremist group called for ongoing demonstrations outside her office in Los Angeles.

Waters warned her supporters against being “baited” into counter-demonstrations or confrontations with the organization, which she said has a track record of “violent and provocative behavior.”

In her statement, Waters described the group as an “anti-government militia,” echoing a distinction the Oath Keepers received from the Southern Poverty Law Center and added that the “group is known to protest in military-style clothing while carrying various assault weapons.”

“The Oath Keepers would like nothing more than to inflame racial tensions and create an explosive conflict in our community,” Waters said. “The group is known to protest in military-style clothing while carrying various assault weapons.”

She noted in her statement that Los Angeles Police Department officers and personnel would be on site Thursday “to ensure safety and security.”

“My primary concern is to maintain the safety and security of the protesters, staff, and constituents of California’s 43rd Congressional District – a task that would be exceedingly complicated by large crowds of protesters and counter-protesters,” she said.

What happened? Isn’t she the one who said: “If you are going to shoot me, you better be able to shoot straight?” Guess she’s singing a new tune now.

However, in its description of the protest, the group mentioned Waters specifically, describing her recent public statements as an “incitement of terrorism.”

So when she calls on people to harass politicians it’s OK? But when others make a call to harass her it’s bad?

Well, Maxine, better be careful what you wish for, because, what goes around comes around. She earned everything she is getting. False projecting violence on the Oath Keepers and demonizing American patriots exercising their constitutional rights will get you nowhere. How is this woman still in office?
