Billboard Companies Are Censoring Christians In California Now!

The war against Christians, their GOD, his holy word, and the whole Christian faith has been going on for many thousands of years. We witness more and more cases of bad behavior towards Christians, even though their religious views often lead to worshiping morality, personal responsibility, respect and understanding for others.

A new survey by the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) found that just 43% of Americans now identify as white and Christian. By comparison, 81% of Americans identified as white Christians in 1976. The report reinforces the findings of a 2015 survey by the Pew Research Center, which found that the number of white Christians in the U.S. had fallen to 46% while only 30 percent are white Protestants.

No wonder the numbers of Christians are lowering lately!

Billboards showing Pastor Greg Laurie of Harvest America holding a Bible were removed from a popular outdoor mall in Southern California after numerous complaints.

The billboards were promoting the upcoming SoCal Harvest gathering – expected to draw tens of thousands of people to Angel Stadium August 17-19, an event the Christian ministry has hosted for 29 years.

We meet at Anaheim Stadium. We have somewhere around 100,000 people that will come out over the course of the weekend and Pastor Greg Laurie will give a very simple gospel message and we’ll see eight or nine, sometimes 10,000 people make a profession of faith in Christ,” John Collins, Executive Director of Harvest America told CBN News.

“So, leading into what we take out ads with billboards,” continued Collins. “We put bumper stickers on thousands of cars that people lend us their bumpers. And we have ads in bus shelters and wherever we can. And this year we decided to take out some ads in one of the cultural centers of Orange County, Fashion Island, and take out ads to put big banners in the mall where a lot of people congregate.”

The Irvine Company mandated the billboards be modified. Harvest complied with the request and resubmitted new ad artwork without the image of the Bible. Ultimately, however, the changes were not enough to resolve the situation as the Irvine Company decided to completely remove all the advertisements and billboards for the crusade.

‘There was nothing overtly religious about it,’ John Collins, Harvest Executive Director told CBN News.

The Bible depicted in Laurie’s hand did not have a cross, religious symbols, or even the word ‘Bible’ on it.

We must fight, I noticed that Facebook is making it hard to share and comment on Christian or Republican posts! We must fight against this!
