Laura Ingraham Gets Sweet Revenge Against Advertisers Who Abandoned Her Show

Tweeting an article from Daily Wire about Hogg’s college prospects, Ingraham appeared to make light of his rejections, saying it was “totally predictable given acceptance rates” that he was “Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA.” In the tweet, Ingraham also said Hogg whined about being rejected.

In a response to Ingraham’s tweet, David Hogg called out twelve companies who had advertising deals on the Fox News show to boycott the show. The boycott had a temporary effect. At least 10 sponsors have pulled their support from “The Ingraham Angle” and Ingraham herself announced that she would be taking a one-week vacation just after the incident and was temporarily replaced by guests.

But now our favorite conservative host came back stronger than ever!

Laura Ingraham explained, “Meanwhile, our ratings are sky-high on Fox, by the way. Our ratings are up, up, up, up, up. Among 18- to 34-year-olds, our ratings, I think, are up 47 percent since the boycott.”

Ingraham showed her gratitude and support for the founder of the company MyPillow, who supported her throughout the boycott.“Mike Lindell, the My Pillow guy, he’s selling so many pillows,” she said. She also explained that Ace Hardware had reversed their decision to stop their relationship with the show.

The Fox News host also stated, “I mean, support Ace Hardware franchises across the country, support them because they said no to the mob. All these other companies ― SlimFast, Jenny Craig ― they all gave in to the mob.”

Ingraham found support in an unlikely source, ultra liberal Bill Maher.
I want to defend Laura Ingraham,” Maher told the audience. “I know it sounds ridiculous, but it has to do with the Parkland kids and guns and free speech.”

“Again, he is in the arena, and then he calls for a boycott of her sponsors,” Maher continued, referring to Hogg, a student survivor of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in February.

“Really? Is that American?” Maher asked the crowd, several of whom audibly shouted “yes!” in response.

“He complains about bullying? That’s bullying!” the host continued. “I have been the victim of a boycott…I’ve lost a job as a result. It is wrong. You shouldn’t do this by team, you should do it by principle.”

“Boycotting is part of free speech,” shot back former New York Gov. Elliot Spitzer (D). “Saying, ‘I don’t want to work with that person. Saying I will not buy a product from that person. That’s speech.’”

Thanks, FOX for not caving to David Hogg who has his own agenda and obviously has nothing to do with school safety. He cannot control or Limit Freedom of Speech!!!
