A week before President Trump’s working visit to Britain, the mayor of London has allowed an additional participant in the city’s welcome reception: a giant orange balloon of the president depicted as a baby in a diaper.
Ironically, the group behind this angry baby Trump blimp refer to themselves as ‘anti-fascists.’
Sadiq Khan’s spokesman said the Mayor approved the blimp because he supports the right to peaceful protest.
From Free Speech Time:
On BBC Radio 4’s Programme, the Mayor of London defended allowing a giant balloon depicting Mr. Trump as an angry baby to fly near Parliament, saying:
“Frankly speaking, the idea that we limit the rights to protest, we limit the rights to free speech because it may cause offense to a foreign leader is a very, very slippery slope.”
Sadiq Khan does not want you to know that recently London has launched a team to track down and arrest people who post mean “Islamophobia” messages on social media.
According to the Muslim mayor of London, you have freedom of expression as long as you do not insult Muslims by criticizing Islam, the Prophet Muhammad, the Koran or terrorist attacks.
In the video below you can see UKIP David Kurten grills Sadiq Khan over wasting police time on ‘HATE’ incidents.
When you elect a Muslim mayor, you get someone with a religious agenda for his cult, not the interest of the citizens. This is why it is good to see decent people rise up in a behaved way and take a stand. The Brits are waking up and taking their country back!
A crowd-funding campaign to get an infantile inflatable of the London mayor crushed its fundraising goal in less than 24 hours following reports that London Mayor Sadiq Khan approved a float of a baby President Donald Trump to fly while Trump visits London
Following Sadiq Khan’s approval of a balloon mocking President Trump to be flown over Parliament during his visit to the UK, a counter-campaign has surged to over £10,000 out of nowhere for a balloon depicting the London Mayor to go up.
The campaign’s appeal reads: “To have a giant size Sadiq Khan, ‘Baby Khan’ balloon fly over London to demonstrate our unhappiness with him as our Mayor of London.”
It goes on to explain: “In light of the Donald Trump ‘Baby Trump’ ballon being allowed to fly over London during his visit to the UK, let’s get a ‘baby Khan’ one and see if FREE SPEECH applies to all and whether or not Mr Khan and the London Assembly will also approve this.”
More than 600 people have backed the move already, to the tune of more than £10k.
Mr Bruere, from Northampton, says the anti-Trump campaign shows “blatant disrespect to the leader of the free world”, and has retaliated with a bouncy effigy of his own. The 27-year-old, who is based in Barcelona, Spain, has not long been crowdfunding but has already raised around £40,000 of his £50,000 target.
Mr Bruere said to i: “I think it’s [Trump Baby] insulting and childish. We shouldn’t be making the US president feel unwelcome.
Trump has made America safe and has made the world safe. In London, under Khan as mayor, crime is soaring to unprecedented levels and people don’t feel safe. “We’re making the Sadiq Khan balloon as ugly as possible. It’s a bit of fun – it’s something funny in response to the Trump baby”.
Mr Bruere said an illustrator is already on board and a manufacturer is ready to go once the money is raised. He hopes to see the inflatable mayor fly sometime in August.
Mr Khan also indicated that he would be open to any balloon, so long as it is “peaceful and safe”, while talking to Piers Morgan on Tuesday.
