President Trump Was Asked About McCain’s Death In The Oval Office – His Body Language Says Everything! (Video)

Just because a person has passed doesn’t mean your opinion of them has changed. McCain requested not to have Trump present at his funeral. Up until McCain’s last days, he Trashed Trump.

I am not sure what the critics expect Trump to do or say. Trump has offered his condolences to the McCain family. No matter what the guy does he will be criticized by the left.

Today President Trump decided that he will not attend the funeral for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), who died Saturday after a battle with brain cancer, a spokesperson for McCain confirmed to the Washington Post on Monday.

President Donald Trump sat silently with his arms crossed when he was asked about Sen. John McCain by reporters on Monday.

He declined to answer questions at the end of the announcement. Was asked to reflect on the legacy of Sen. McCain, but declined. Sat silent and cross-armed as press pool herded out of the Oval Office.

The White House has not released a formal statement on the 81-year-old senator’s death. Instead, Trump tweeted condolences to McCain’s family, avoiding praise of the senator.

In the meantime, President Trump wife Melania wrote:

“Our thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy to the McCain Family,” Mrs. Trump, 48, tweeted after Sen. McCain died of brain cancer at the age of 81 on Saturday. “Thank you Senator McCain for your service to the nation.”

President Trump is not required to like someone or pretend he did just because they died. He offered condolences to the family.
Move on.
