Tweeting an article from a right-wing news site about Hogg’s college prospects, Ingraham appeared to make light of his rejections, saying it was “totally predictable given acceptance rates” that he was “Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA.” In the tweet, Ingraham also said Hogg whined about being rejected.

Now, this tweet caused a lot of controversies and Hogg responded just a few hours later, asking the Fox News host who her biggest advertisers were, adding the hashtag “#BoycottIngramAdverts.”
He also tweeted calling on his followers to boycott Ingraham’s advertisers. “Pick a number 1-12 contact the company next to that #,” he tweeted.

And it seems that his calls for Boycott works!
Rachael Ray’s pet food brand Nutrish is removing its ads from Laura Ingraham’s show after the Fox News host posted a critical tweet about a Parkland, Fla., high school student.
Later on Thursday, online home goods company, Wayfair told CNBC that it plans to stop advertising on Ingraham’s program over the tweet.
But what is more important is who is fueling this boycott because I am sure David Hogg’s 600K twitter account is not enough.
The George Soros-financed Media Matters for America progressive activist group has been helping to fuel an advertising boycott targeting Laura Ingraham’s Fox News show following Twitter comments the media star made about Parkland shooting survivor and antigun activist David Hogg.
Think Progress, the media project of the Soros-funded Center for American Progress, has also been using its platform to hype the boycott.
On Twitter, Media Matters President Angelo Carusone highlighted two of Ingraham’s biggest advertisers, Liberty Mutual and Bayer:

Carusone further commented, “You can expect more advertisers to leave … Fox News is reckless propaganda machine. It’s bad for business.”

Media Matters, founded by Hillary Clinton ally David Brock, is financed in part by Soros. The billionaire provided a $1 million donation in 2010 “to hold Fox News accountable for the false and misleading information they so often broadcast.”
Laura will be fine, she will find new sponsors. And Hogg will be enrolling at the local community college.
