Anthony Scaramucci Drops The Hammer On Last Night’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner (VIDEO)

I am horrified at the behavior of the Washington press. Something is terribly wrong with people who think bullying and verbal abuse is acceptable. What has happened to our country?

Comedian Michelle Wolf attacked President Donald Trump and White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, at Saturday evening’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Speaking about Sarah Sanders, Wolf said that she was never quite certain what to call her.

“Is it Sarah Sanders, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Cousin Huckabee, Auntie Huckabee Sanders? What’s ‘Uncle Tom,’ but for white women who disappoint other white women?” Wolf said.

On Sunday, former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci slammed last night’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner. In an interview on CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” called the White House Correspondents’ Dinner “an atrocity.”

Pointing to comedian Michelle Wolf‘s routine, Scaramucci said, “What happened last night was an atrocity, and it was like literally watching Michael Wolff with a wig on. I thought Michelle Wolf was Michael Wolff, actually.”

“I think what you guys are missing is you think it’s totally okay to take a cheese grater to somebody’s face, grate their face, drop the cheese grater and say, ‘Geez, part of your job is to have the right side of your face bleeding.”

He added: “I’ll tell you why it’s an atrocity because it doesn’t help what you’re trying to achieve and what I think all of us are trying to achieve. Your logo says facts first. We want the White House, obviously, to be accountable. We want an openness with the White House. But this constant barrage of attacks, people are human, they’re going to look at that and say, ‘hey, I’m sorry, no mas.’”

Atrocity is a great word for what happened. Not only was the message an atrocity, but so was the fact that not one person got up and walked out of that. Heartbreaking. It was vile, evil, the lowest of lows.

Last night Correspondents Dinner looked like a gathering of petulant crybabies. They blew it last night big time. Any credibility left yesterday has gone today. In one evening, they proved that nearly everything Trump accuses them of is true. Masks off!

I personally think that this should be the last one held at the White House. The disrespect for the President should not be tolerated!
