Trump’s 2016 National Campaign Spokeswoman: The only thing that the Democrats uniform was missing tonight is the matching hood.

This year, the Democratic Women’s Working Group is encouraging women of both parties to wear white as a nod to suffragettes and those who paved the way for greater female representation in our government.

But Trump’s aide had another idea, one that is a lot closer to their history!

President Trump’s 2016 national campaign spokeswoman compared Democratic women wearing all-white to Tuesday night’s State of the Union address to honor suffragists to wearing Ku Klux Klan robes.

Katrina Pierson, a senior adviser on Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign, tweeted early Wednesday morning to slam the white outfits.

“The only thing that the Democrats uniform was missing tonight is the matching hood,” Pierson tweeted.

The Rev. Darrell Scott, a former member of the presidential transition team, tweeted that Democrats had on their “Klan colors.

Radio host Mark Simone also mocked the outfit choice, saying the group of women looked like “insane asylum attendants.”

Simone also jabbed that the decision to wear all-white was inspired by Democratic Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam’s yearbook photo.

Sean Davis, co-founder of conservative website The Federalist, alluded to the KKK reference, describing the group of majority of female Democrats participating as “a bunch of ghouls.”
